Refund Policy

At Colioe, we strive to provide reliable and transparent services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and when they are not.

Certain services involve immediate third-party costs, irreversible registrations, provisioning expenses, or resource allocations. As a result, not all purchases are eligible for refunds.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Eligible subscription-based services may qualify for Colioe's seven (7) day money-back guarantee.

  • The refund request must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase.
  • The account must be in good standing.
  • No fraud, abuse, chargeback activity, or policy violation may be associated with the account.
  • The service must not be listed as non-refundable under this Policy.

Approved refunds under the 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee are generally returned to the original payment method.

Where refunding to the original payment method is not possible, Colioe may require evidence demonstrating that an alternative receiving account belongs to the same individual or legal entity and is located within the same country as the original payer.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Duplicate Payments

Accidental duplicate payments are eligible for a full refund or payment reversal.

Billing Errors

If Colioe incorrectly bills a customer, the overcharged amount may be refunded or credited.

Failed Provisioning

If a service cannot be successfully provisioned or activated due to a Colioe-controlled issue, customers may choose:

  • Refund to the original payment method (where available)
  • Account Balance credit
  • Service replacement or reprovisioning

Service Not Delivered

If Colioe is unable to provide a purchased service, Colioe may issue a refund, Account Balance credit, or equivalent replacement service at its discretion.

3. Subscription Cancellations

Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle the customer to a refund for the current billing period.

Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated Account Balance credit for the unused portion of the subscription term.

Cash refunds are generally not issued for annual subscriptions except where required by law or where Colioe determines a refund is appropriate.

Multi-Year Plans

Multi-year subscriptions may be eligible for prorated Account Balance credits for unused service periods at Colioe's discretion.

Promotional Pricing

Any refund, credit, or adjustment is calculated based on the amount actually paid by the customer and not on undiscounted list pricing.

Certificate Services

  • SSL certificates after issuance
  • Code signing certificates
  • Digital certificates
  • Certificate reissues

Third-Party Services

  • Marketplace products
  • Third-party licenses
  • Third-party software
  • Third-party subscriptions

Administrative Charges

  • Setup fees
  • Processing fees
  • Compliance review fees
  • Administrative fees

5. Usage-Based Services

Usage-based services are billed according to actual resource consumption and are generally non-refundable once usage has been incurred.

  • Virtual machines
  • Cloud compute
  • Serverless functions
  • Object storage usage
  • Bandwidth usage
  • Database usage
  • Other metered infrastructure services

6. Fixed Allocation Services

Certain services are sold using fixed allocations, subscriptions, reserved capacity, or pre-provisioned resources.

  • Email storage plans
  • Mailbox allocations
  • User licenses
  • Reserved capacity plans
  • Fixed storage subscriptions

Such services are generally considered consumed upon provisioning and are not eligible for partial refunds based on actual utilization.

7. Account Balance & Credits

Approved refunds may be issued as Account Balance credit, original payment reversal, or another payment method approved by Colioe.

Account Balance credits are governed by the Account Balance Policy.

Promotional credits, sponsorship credits, courtesy credits, and similar credits have no cash value and are not refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

Colioe may deny, suspend, delay, reverse, or limit any refund request where fraud, abuse, policy violations, excessive refund requests, unusual payment activity, or unlawful activity is suspected.

Refund eligibility may be suspended while an account is undergoing fraud review, compliance review, identity verification, payment verification, risk assessment, or legal review.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact Colioe before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Chargebacks may result in:

  • Temporary account suspension
  • Service suspension
  • Credit removal
  • Additional verification requirements
  • Refund ineligibility while disputes remain unresolved

10. Refund Request Procedure

  1. Email billing@colioe.io from the registered account email.
  2. Include invoice number(s).
  3. Include the affected service.
  4. Include the reason for the request.
  5. Provide supporting documentation if requested.

11. Refund Processing Times

Colioe generally responds to refund requests within three (3) business days.

A final determination is generally made within thirty (30) business days.

  • Card refunds: typically 5–15 business days
  • Bank refunds: typically 5–30 business days
  • Account Balance credits: generally immediate

12. Currency & Foreign Exchange

Refunds are generally processed in the original transaction currency.

Foreign exchange fluctuations, intermediary bank charges, conversion fees, and receiving bank fees are outside Colioe's control.

13. Marketplace Products

Marketplace products, software licenses, subscriptions, and third-party services may be governed by separate vendor-specific refund policies.

14. Regulatory Exceptions

Where consumer protection laws or other applicable legal requirements provide customers with additional rights, Colioe will honor those rights to the extent required by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Colioe shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from refund decisions, payment processing delays, compliance reviews, fraud investigations, chargebacks, banking restrictions, or enforcement of this Policy.

16. Policy Changes

Colioe reserves the right to modify, replace, suspend, amend, or terminate this Refund Policy at any time.

Continued use of Colioe services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
